As a RA patient myself I could relate so much in Karen’s book to my own experiences and frustrations when first diagnosed with this disease.

I’ve always thought it was just ‘me’ having sad and sorry moments when the pain set in, though now having read what Karen has been through I’ve abandoned thinking like this again!

As my partner and I are travelling to the US in October this year I’m hopeful of meeting Karen to personally thank her.

Nice to read about your book in of all things the St George Leader (rather than read about the dragons – lol).
But I want to salute you and your journey throughout your life albeit I was aware of some of the trials that you faced.
So the big question is…how do I get an autographed copy?
